Founded by a forward-thinking couple, this dynamic tech company in the Kallang area of Singapore specialises in innovative solutions for events and exhibitions. The company wanted its office space to reflect this philosophy and support a live-work-play concept for enhanced workplace culture and morale. With a host of iPads, computers, and tech gadgets, this space is crafted to be functional and fluid. The corporate colours used throughout reflect its inspiring energy. This commercial office interior design perfectly embodies the company’s ethos by integrating innovative design elements.

Stepping into the office, visitors are welcomed by a reception area that seamlessly integrates a pantry, designed to be both inviting and functional. The space offers plenty of seating options, including beach seating along the staircase wall that also serves as storage. Beanbags scattered around create a casual, relaxed environment. Above the main area, a loft houses the primary office workspace, adding a unique architectural element to the office.

The seating area is characterised by a striking dark blue wall, complemented by wooden details on the staircase. The lighting fitted under the handrail creates a dramatic contrast, giving the space a futuristic feel, while the grey walls add a sense of warmth and balance. The overall design was aimed at creating a casual ambience that deviates from the traditional corporate environment, with the beanbags and beach seating contributing to this relaxed atmosphere.

Given the company’s need to store and move tech equipment for events and exhibitions, the storage room on the main floor was designed with practicality in mind. Open shelves make it easy to retrieve items. The space is both accessible and organised, despite its potentially messy appearance. By placing the storage room on the main floor, the design intention ensures that the main office workspace is free from clutter.

The open-concept office space in the loft features small partitions to minimise distractions while maintaining a collaborative atmosphere. The bright and uplifting environment enhances productivity and well-being. Large windows fill the space with natural light, which can be controlled with wooden blinds. Wood flooring and blinds add a cosy touch, making the office feel like a second home for the staff.

A retreat for relaxation and creativity, the cosy corner with bean bags is perfect for casual conversations or power naps. Curtains can be drawn to create a quiet and collaborative space. Additional storage and sliding whiteboards that double up as windows or a projector wall add to the functionality and versatility of this space, making it ideal for informal meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Designed to be an adaptable space, the reception area features a movable bar table designed in the same round shape as the company’s logo. The bar also serves as a casual collaborative or chillout space. It is complete with a café-style pantry to encourage interaction and fun. The pantry is equipped to make pizza, which they can serve from a window. More storage at the back ensures that printers and event equipment are neatly housed, maintaining the office’s clean and organised look.
